Historically, identity verification may have been treated as a “point-in-time” event, something you do once during onboarding and then tuck away. At SQR, we know that for regulated financial institutions, the world doesn’t stand still. Client data changes, regulations evolve, and risk profiles shift.
That is why we are incredibly excited to announce the launch of Continuous Client Authentication (CCA).
More than just an Onboarding Event
Today, lots of platforms focus solely on the initial handshake. However, regulated firms, especially those in offshore life assurance and banking face significant challenges long after a client has been onboarded. Maintaining confidence in a client’s identity over a relationship that may span decades is complex and often relies on slow, manual processes that frustrate your team and your clients.
We believe that trust shouldn’t have an expiry date. This is why our CCA changes the game, by moving identity verification from a static event to an ongoing lifecycle capability.
How CCA Works
Instead of forcing every client through a repetitive, full KYC process every few years, CCA allows you to initiate targeted and timely checks based on specific risk triggers and real-world events. Whether it’s a policy withdrawal, change of legal name, or a scheduled KYC refresh, organisations can now re-verify client identities through a single dashboard trigger as and when they need to.
Using your SQR eKYC dashboard, Super Admins and Admins can now request two distinct types of authentication:
- Full Re-verification: Should updated information be required for a trigger event (like a policy surrender or beneficiary change), a user will be able to securely share a fresh selfie and documents via the SQR app.
- Address & Mortality Checks: A lightweight check for individuals that validates their current residency and status.
* Please note, the CCA capability is optional, and available as an add on for existing customers.
